Vi-Spring Sublime Divan
Mattress Springs
1.32mm wire springs 51mm in diameter in individual sewn cotton calico pockets, hand formed into a honeycomb nested unit. Constructed with two layers of springs.
Mattress Border
23cm deep with four rows of genuine hand side-stitching. Horizontal handles - 8 on 150cm sizes. Air vents on all sides. Border edges upholstered with coir and lambswool, and finished with piped ticking.
Mattress Upholstery
Upholstered with lambswool, then 1,525 gsm* hand-teased loose long-stranded black horsehair blended together with lambswool enclosed in a hairproof cambric cover, and overlaid with 1,200 gsm blended lambswool and cotton. Divan Construction
The Sovereign Divan is constructed with 1,344 gsm* hand nested calico-pocketed springs on screwed and glued solid timber frame. The divan frame is covered with insulating wadding, and the ticking case is calico lined for added protection.
Divan Upholstery
The divan upholstery is made up of 1,200 gsm natural coir pad overlaid with 1,200 gsm of blended lambswool and cotton. Covered with your choice of the finest quality ticking from our Collection, click here for details. Hand tuffed with hand-tied wollen tufts and twine.
